For the fourth year, Jared, Mike and I took the kids (as many as we could convince that this is the year we catch something) ice fishing on Crooked Lake. For the fourth year, we caught nothing. We are bad at fishing, but we always have a great time. This year Jared’s sister Beth joined us with her 5 year-old son. It was exactly what we needed: A little time away from all the day-to-day mess that life can include, an activity that is perfectly stress free (we had no expectation of fish), and an enforced technology-free zone. A grand time was had by all!
