Paint job?

As part of the P-40 Seca project, a new paintjob will be in order. In order to make sure I’ll be happy with the final product, I’ve whipped up a couple of mockups. Now, these are very rough, and I don’t want to hears about how I didn’t cut out the wheels… I know I didn’t cut them out… I didn’t cut them out…

Since doing these, I’ve seen pics of a couple of bike with a similar rear cowling and a custom cafe seat that I didn’t hate. Instead of the sort of rounded rear end, I may just keep the stock rear, paint it, and build a new solo seat. I’ve also been told that it looks less like a Warhawk and more like an irritated beluga… blow hole and all.

At any rate, I welcome any feedback on these, or any ideas. I’m also looking for a good way to include a shout out the the Tuskegee Airmen. The P-40 Warhawk was the primary plane of the 332nd Fighter Group.
